If you've been searching for a new Audi SUV, you have most likely come across the Audi Q5 and Audi Q7. Both of these luxury SUVs are sophisticated, powerful, and packed with the technology you crave. They also include plenty of space for you, your loved ones, and your luggage, and look great in any Cleveland or Kent commute. So, what are the differences between these two gorgeous Audi SUVs? We have three that are sure to stand out.

1) Size

While these SUVs are similar in design and luxury features, their size differs greatly. The Audi Q5 is a compact SUV with two rows and seats for up to five people. The Audi Q7 is a midsize SUV that contains three rows and up to seven-passenger seats. Both come with an ample amount of space for your luggage and cargo, with each row having the capacity to split-fold as needed. You'll also find a long list of interior creature comforts in each SUV, ranging from leather upholstery and heated seats to power soft-closing doors and an ambient LED interior lighting package.

2) Performance

Both SUVs start with the standard 2.0-liter TFSI® engine, quattro® all-wheel drive, and a driver mode select system. This impressive powertrain combination produces slightly more get up and go power in the smaller Audi Q5, with up to 261-horsepower and 273 pounds-feet of torque behind the wheel. The Audi Q7 will still get your heart racing, though, with up to 248-horsepower and 273 pounds-feet of torque.

The available powertrains are really where these two SUVs differ. The Audi Q5 goes towards a more fuel-efficient route, with the available plug-in hybrid powertrain, while the Audi Q7 veers towards the more power destination with a 3.0-liter TFSI® six-cylinder engine intact. The plug-in hybrid combines the original 2.0-liter engine with an electric motor to earn you up to 362-horsepower and 369 pounds-feet of torque, while the 3.0-liter engine gives your Audi Q7 up to 7,700-pounds of towing capacity.

3) Price

Each Audi SUV comes with three main trim levels, the Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Every trim level offers similar features and options, with the biggest difference being the overall price. As the larger SUV, the Audi Q7 is more expensive in every comparable trim to the Audi Q5. Of course, this added price also provides more space for any Canton or Akron daily commute.
